In the recent five years, our division fulfilled over 40 research projects, and most of them obtained pretty good application effect. Some of these productions have already transformed into policies. We have published about 30 books, 100 papers, and offered over 100 countermeasure research data. There are over several hundreds of person-times attended research meetings during this period.
1.research on the land and resources planning
We mainly focus on the development of theoretic and method system for the national land and resources comprehensive planning in the new ear, which includes specific plans, such as mineral resources planning、overall land use planning, etc.
Land use Planning: participated in the compiling for the national overall land use planning, beard the researches on the compilation for the overall plan for land use for Beijing and Wuhan.
Mineral resources planning: participated in research & workout of the national overall mineral resources planning, and the provincial mineral resources planning guide. We were also mainly in charged and fulfilled the mineral resources developing and the geological environment protection, etc. Compilation of the mineral resources planning for Beijing, Tibet , xinjiang production & construction group, Qianxi county of HeBei province, Luquan. We also did research on mineral resources planning for Heilongjiang province; research on the western areas’ mineral resources explore and development—potential and planning, and the development of Beijing’s mineral resources planning and management information system. Among those projects, the Beijing mineral resources planning win the Ministry of Land and Resources first place prize, and the mineral resources planning for Tibet, xinjiang production & construction group，and Luquan planning win the Ministry of Land and Resources second place prize individually. The two research productions, “research on the mineral resources planning” and “research on the western areas’ mineral resources explore and development——potential and planning”, win “the second place prize for technology” in the Ministry of Land and Resources.
The land resource planning: the division was mainly in charged of the outline of the national Land and Resources planning; “ the national tenth five-year” western’s Land and Resources exploitation and utilization planning; national “tenth five-year” Land and Resources ecological construction and environment protection planning; SanHe City’s comprehensive planning for land and resources.

Research on Mid-to-Long term Planning of scientific and technologic development in land and resources area of Beijing city；
Research on development planning of mining industry in Kaiyang phosphorus mining area, Guizhou province.
2.Exploitation and utilization of national resources and the research on regional economy development
We mainly researched on the related problems between the land and resources development and utilization and the development for regional economy. The study areas includes Heilongjiang, Xinjiang, Yunnan, Sichuan, Guizhou, Fujian, Hainan, Shandong provinces and cities ,counties, etc, and analyzed the different emphasis, direction, distribution and mode of mineral resources development and utilization in different development phases and different areas.
The major accomplishments of recent period include: the research on national mineral resources situation, potential and utilization countermeasure; research on Shandong’s mineral resources superiority transform; research on Heilongjiang’s mineral resources development and utilization stratagem and planning; research on the overall evaluation and planning of the western areas’ potential mineral resources .
3. Research on the land and resources safety
The cut-in point is the research on the relationship between land & resources and economy and society’s sustainable development on the development of improving the land and resources to economy and society’s sustainable development’s safeguard ability measure and policy.
Recent accomplishments include: the relationship for the National mineral resources and sustainable development; research on the pre-alert of Chinese mineral resources; research on the issue of national mineral resources storing stratagem; the land and resources and economy society sustainable development; research on the issues of the land and resources economic safety and the land and resources safety.
4. Research on land and resources comprehensive harness and the national land planning
We mainly focus on the theory and practice of foreign countries for land and resources comprehensive harness, and the content and theory of our nation’s land and resources harness. We are also interested in the framework of the future policy of our nation’s land and resources comprehensive harness, in the theories and methods of the plan for land and resources.
Recent accomplishments include: research on the theory and policy of national land harness; the pre-study on the comprehensive harness planning for land and resources exploitation and utilization; The geological environment reservation and overall harness planning over Daqing City and its surrounding areas.
Pre-study on the compilation of the national comprehensive planning for land and re-sources design is the major task that we are doing now.
5. Research on the land and resources investigation and evaluation and economic evaluation on development and utilization’s techniques
We are mainly focus on the land and resources investigation and evaluation; the land and resources exploitation and utilization; evaluation on the economy and technique of the land and resources related projects.
Recent accomplishments include: the feasibility research on the mineral resources exploration projects; the research on the economic evaluation and social evaluation methods of the geological hazard pre-alert project; research on the evaluation of the overall technique of mineral resources exploration and development over border upon gansu,Sichuan and shanxi province and Qin mountain—Dabie mountain region; Feasibility research of the Shitiba saltworks in Ankang city, Shanxi province.
The research on the application and macro deployment of the national survey of the land and resources accomplishment is the major task that we are doing now.
